Living Guitars : ウィキペディア英語版
Living Strings
The Living Strings was an easy listening studio orchestra, founded in 1959. It was operated by RCA Records on its budget Camden imprint. There were also related groups called the Living Voices, the Living Brass, the Living Guitars. All of the "Living..." records were produced by the same group of people.
Ethel Gabriel created "Living Strings" series of albums, which were easy-listening instrumental string versions of popular tunes, the type of music that came to be known pejoratively as elevator music.
There was no single orchestra known as the Living Strings. Most were British orchestras assembled for purposes of the albums. (Johnny Douglas was a frequent conductor and arranger.)
